What is your cancellation policy?
Life happens, we understand. Should you need to cancel your appointment, we request at least 5 hours advance notice. If your appointment is canceled under 5 hours before your appointment time, your credit card will be charged 50% of the service fee. If you do not contact us to cancel your appointment, the full service fee will be charged.

Can women come to SIR?
Yes. SIR has a private treatment suite for women, complete with a private rain forest shower.

SIR can also schedule simultaneous treatments for couples. The rooms are separate since a shared treatment room distracts you from enjoying your full relaxation experience. Massage followed by dinner at one of Andersonville's many excellent restaurants makes for a great date night. Our Guest Services team can assist with restaurant recommendations and reservations.

Is Sir Spa a Chicago spa, or is it located in the suburbs?
SIR Spa is a spa in Chicago located in the Chicago northside neighborhood of Andersonville. SIR Spa is located near the intersection of Clark Street and Foster Avenue at:

Is parking available?
Metered street parking is readily available during the week and weekend mornings. Free street parking is available on Winona Street, just east of Clark Street.

Also, if you are in a metered parking spot and staying at SIR longer than 2 hours, please let the SIR Guest Services team know at check-in. They will be happy to re-feed your meter during your stay. All guests are responsible for feeding the first 2 hours of their parking meter on their own. SIR is not responsible for any parking tickets that may incur at any time.

Do I tip? How much should I tip?
Tipping is optional, but it is customary to reward good service from therapists and technicians with a gratuity. Gratuities typically range from 15% to 20% of the service price.

Can I host a party at SIR?
A birthday bash, a company party, or grooming the Groomsmen. You can celebrate and enjoy your special event with full spa services and amenities. Group packages are available for groups of 4 or more. Contact SIR with your event date and number of guests, and the SIR Guest Services team will work with you to provide several options.

What do I wear?
If you are receiving massage or a body treatment like a scrub or wrap, SIR provides full spa gear including robes and sandals. Beneath your robe, it's your choice. Some guests prefer to keep boxers on, while others prefer off. Throughout your treatment, your therapists will ensure you are properly covered and draped with sheets or towels at all times.

If you'd prefer to undress in your treatment room and not in locker room, simply inform Guest Services at check-in and they will guide you directly to your treatment room.

What can I expect from a 90-minute massage?
While your therapist will always tailor your massage to your needs, a 90-minute massage allows your therapist time to work in-depth on a specific area, while also providing the full body massage (back, shoulders, neck, arms, and legs) of a 60-minute massage.

A 90-minute massage is recommended if it’s been a while since your last massage, if you're looking to relieve pain in a troubled area, or if you have high stress in your life and require the extra time to let yourself relax and let go.

What do you take for payment?
SIR accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, SIR Spa gift certificates, Spa Finder gift certificates, and of course, cash. SIR does not accept personal checks.
